Finca Tasta, nestled in Peru’s Junín Region within the Satipo Province, sits at elevations between 1,450 and 1,600 meters. Spanning 56 acres, the farm is run by siblings Edith and Ivan Meza Sagarvinaga, who took over after their mother’s passing. Of the total land, 19 acres are devoted to coffee cultivation, while 22 acres remain untouched forest, serving as a refuge for local wildlife.
Edith and Ivan prioritize sustainability and environmental stewardship. In addition to coffee, they grow a diverse range of crops—plantains, yucca, tomatoes, sugarcane, raspberries, and pumpkins—fostering biodiversity and supporting both their community and workforce. Their commitment extends to protecting the natural ecosystem, ensuring that their farming practices coexist with the surrounding environment.
